Introduction DERUN Trailer Axle
1. DERUN Trailer Axle wheelbase------refers to the distance from the flange surface of the steel ring to the flange surface on the other side.
2. The difference between internal axles and external axles-------is whether the flange surface of the brake drum is on the inside or outside of the wheel hub.
3. Determine the tonnage of the axle-------------is the difference in wheel hub specifications, that is, the bearings. (|3-ton bearing HM518445/10, 16T bearing HM220149/10, HM518445/10, 20T bearing 32222, HM518445/10.25T bearing 32222, 30222)
4. Common brake specifications:------------φ420*180, φ420*200, φ420*220, φ311*190
5. 13-ton axle brake--------is 420*180
6. 14 tons, 16 tons, 20 tons, 25 tons brakes--------are 420*220
7. Commonly used adjustment arms---------there are straight arm adjustment arms and single curved arm (eccentric) adjustment arms
Use and maintenance of axles
1. During the transportation and installation of axles, the brake drum must be prevented from colliding, and local deformation, cracking, paint peeling, etc. of the brake drum must be avoided.
2. It is strictly forbidden to collide with the camshaft, adjustment arm, dust cover, etc. during forklift transportation.
3. The axles should not exceed 4 layers when stacked in the warehouse, and no more than 3 layers during transportation. Too many stacking layers can easily cause local deformation and cracking of the brake drum.
4. When stacking axles, the axles should be separated by soft pads and connected with connecting plates.
5. The upper and lower pallets (bullhead seats) are the locations of the maximum bending moment of the axle and various stress concentration points. Improper welding will increase the possibility of axle breakage.
